General InformationThe National Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) was founded in 1962. The organization exists to promote the professional development of students enrolled in Electrical and Computer Engineering while at The Citadel. It achieves this goal through a number of activities and participation in local engineering events. The chapter at The Citadel consists of about 60 members comprised of students from the South Carolina Corps of Cadets, as well as evening students from The Citadel Graduate College. Dr. Ron Hayne is the acting faculty advisor. |

| Eligibility to Join: The student
chapter of IEEE at The Citadel is open to all Electrical and Computer
Engineering students attending The Citadel. Members MUST join the National
IEEE.
Dues: Chapter Dues are $10.00National IEEE dues are $30.00 |
